Privacy Policy

1. Basic policy

opazein respects records handled in Orimiora and handles information only as needed to provide features and respond to inquiries. This policy applies to the app and inquiries to the operator.

2. Information on your device

Specimen names, types, origins, histories, purchase stores and prices, photos, related documents, home prefecture in Japan, and display and sharing settings are stored on your device. The version and date of your agreement to the Terms of Use and tutorial completion are also recorded locally. There is no feature that automatically sends these records to the operator's servers. No account registration is required.

The app imports only photos you select from your photo library. The camera is used for capture with your permission. Original photos and documents may contain metadata such as capture location, and originals are also retained in backups. The app does not obtain your device's current location.

3. External storage and restore

Backups containing records, settings, original photos, and documents are written to a folder you choose. If you choose a service such as iCloud Drive, the contents are sent to that service. Permission to access the destination is retained on the device, and the app attempts to save after changes and when you return to it.

Backup files do not use Orimiora-specific encryption. Shared folders can contain private information, so check access permissions and protection provided by the destination service. Restore uses a file you select.

4. Map display and search

Displaying an in-app journey map connects to Apple's map services. The app may ask Apple for locations using the country and city names entered for origins, waypoints, and acquisition places. Apple handles communication information such as IP addresses to provide the service. Apple's Privacy Policy applies to that processing.

Search results are held only in memory while the journey is displayed. They are not saved in specimen records, backups, or public videos. Public videos are created from public map data bundled with the app.

5. Sharing and printing

Images, videos, and label PDFs created at your request are passed through OS sharing to the people, apps, or printers you choose. Posting is finalized at the destination. Purchase price and home are excluded from public images and videos. The purchase store is included only when its setting is on. When Hide personal information is on, public videos also omit waypoints and acquisition places.

Personal information in photos or free-text fields cannot be automatically identified. Check the preview before sharing. Storage, publication, and deletion at the destination are subject to its policies.

6. Advertising and analytics

The app may display advertisements whose content has been reviewed by the operator. The current app contains no third-party advertising delivery SDK or custom analytics SDK. It does not obtain advertising identifiers, track users across apps or websites, or select advertisements based on your records.

External links connect to their destination only when you open them, and that site's policies apply. Apple may provide statistical or diagnostic information to the developer depending on device settings and other conditions. If future features change information handling, the policy will be updated and any required consent obtained.

7. Inquiry information

If you contact us by email, your email address, message, and attachments are used to respond, investigate defects, and address misuse. Information is retained for as long as needed for the response and deleted when no longer necessary, except where required by law, an ongoing dispute, or similar circumstances. Please do not send secrets or unnecessary personal information.

Personal information obtained is not provided to third parties except with your consent, as required by law, when using appropriately supervised contractors as necessary to achieve these purposes, or in other applicable exceptions.

8. Managing information, deletion, and withdrawing consent

Device records can be edited in the app. A specimen you have let go of can be deleted after confirmation from the bottom of its detail screen. Deleting the app removes information from its dedicated area, but external backups, source photos in the photo library, and shared files remain; delete those at their respective destinations.

Camera and other permissions can be changed in iOS Settings. Stopping use of the app stops transmissions caused by subsequent app operations. To request access to, correction or deletion of, or cessation of use of inquiry information held by the operator, contact us below. We will verify identity as necessary and respond under applicable law.

9. Security and revisions

Save and restore operations verify file formats and data integrity and limit permissions to what is necessary. The operator applies appropriate security measures, such as access restrictions, to information obtained. Please also enable device locking and destination protection.

This policy may be revised to address changes in handling or legal requirements. New versions will be presented in the app.

Visiting the support website

This section supplements the Orimiora support website's privacy information (October 11, 2026). Specimen records and photos in the app are not sent to the support website.

We use services provided by Cloudflare, Inc. to deliver and protect the website. When you visit, Cloudflare may process information such as your IP address, request details, and browser or device configuration. The operator may review communication information or logs provided by Cloudflare to check delivery and address unauthorized access.

This website has no advertisements, analytics scripts, or contact forms. Please also read Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for information handling related to delivery and protection.

To choose the initial display language, we use the country Cloudflare determines from the connection’s IP address. Requests from Japan default to Japanese; other requests, including those whose country cannot be determined, default to English. You can switch between Japanese and English using the links at the top of each page. We do not use cookies to store a language preference or access your device’s location.
